This Labor Day weekend saw us heading west towards the ocean and cooler temperatures. When our car enthusiast buddy warned us to bring a jacket to Ventura for the hot rod show, we almost didn't believe him. But sure enough, after an hour or so on the 101, we got out of the car to blustery beach winds, and the motorcycle jacket was required for the first time in months. We were glad to enjoy the overcast skies, as it showed the vehicles in their best light - our happy snaps now look extra fancy!!
